Position Summary:

This position interfaces regularly with external customers and distributors to assist with the fault isolation of ITW EAE products. Responsible for providing technical support (telephone, email and face to face), part identification and facilitate repairs/services in the field. 

Responsible:

  • This position will support Field Service Manager, Field Service Engineers, Third-party Service Representatives, and Technical Support areas.
  • Provide Technical (fault isolation) Support to our customers on all MPM Stencil Printing Devices and/or CAMALOT products.
  • Responsible for communicating customer issues and escalating to appropriate teams as needed.
  • Provide feedback to Product Support Specialist and engineering on high failure components.
  • Review and recommend critical spare inventory.
  • Log Out of Box Quality (OOBQ) issues reported by Field Service, 3rd party service partners or customers for factory quality review.
  • Coordinate prompt scheduling of on-site service work. Effectively coordinating with Field Service Manager to secure proper resources and validate/update division schedules.
  • Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job, and as deemed necessary or appropriate by the organization manager.

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • AA/AS Degree (BA/BS Desired) with 2 years’ experience, or 4+ years of technical support experience.
  • Training/certification in computer (IBM based), DOS, and MS Windows environments.
  • Training/certification in electro-mechanical assemblies and basic maintenance.
  • Excellent fault isolation ability.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer competency.
  • Strong customer sensitivity and relationship skills.
  • Understanding of customer retention concepts.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • MS Office
  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.

Mechanical Engineer III

Position Purpose (general summary of this position):

This position supports Despatch Thermal Processing Technology.  This individual performs high-level mechanical engineering assignments of wide complexity under general direction with considerable discretion as to work details.  Designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electromechanical devices or systems.  Performs developmental and/or test work which requires a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering theory and design. Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches necessary to meet production requirements for new or improved products and/or processes.

Skills Required:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 8-10 years of applicable experience.
  • Precision machine design experience is required.
  • Sheet metal design and fabrication experience is required.
  • Experience with Solidworks CAD package - experience with additional CAD packages such as Mechanical Desktop or ProEngineer is a plus.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to work well at all levels in the organization, including production.
  • Computer skills should include basic PC operation within a MS Windows environment.  Specific application experience includes MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Essential Functions of the Job (responsibilities):

  • Maintains full responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects within the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of mechanical and electromechanical apparatus, components and processes.
  • Conceives and plans projects involving exploration of product and/or process problems, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products and processes.

Position Summary:

A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.  Technicians will have a strong technical understanding of technology, including the various hardware, software and networking systems being supported.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to company personnel by maintaining a general working knowledge of all applications to provide support when needed.
  • Provides support to employees for network/hardware issues, including resetting passwords, starting printers, etc.
  • Accurately log incidents and service requests into Managed Service Providers IT Service Management Tool.
  • Owns, monitors, tracks and communicates status on incidents and service requests to resolution and closure.
  • Provides administration support for adding new users to systems and application where applicable.
  • Regularly communicate with internal & external customers, troubleshoot and resolve problems and/or inquiries received by the Technical Support Help Desk/Contact Center using designated tools and procedures.
  • Interact with internal & external escalation resources to resolve complex tech issues
  • Consult with other vendors/team members to mutually agree upon the best approach to resolving issues
  • Recommend current supported software apps & hardware appropriate to best meet requirements
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge on newly purchased & existing supported desktop software, hardware, & systems
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of knowledge articles to be used internally and/or externally regarding training, best practices, solutions or process as it relates to products, environments, and related technologies.

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience
  • Ability to independently resolve more complex issues requiring detailed systems and applications knowledge

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager will report to Key Account Director and will be responsible for managing EAE’s relationships with our major Automotive key accounts.  This role is responsible for developing and implementing account strategies to defend and profitably grow the business at EAE’s key accounts.  This role collaborates with indirect channels of Representatives and Distributors and EAE support functions to support existing business and win new business.

The scope of this role will involve the successful working relationships with customer’s procurement, quality, and operations and will lead/support cross functional teams who work closely with engineering by utilizing the ITW Innovation framework to develop new products, address customer pain points, and simplify and improve existing product offerings. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver on sales objectives consistent with ITW’s 80/20 principles and based on the Annual and Long Range Plans.
  • Develop and implement a business plan for key accounts.
  • Lead teams to develop specific account sales and marketing strategies to win business.
  • Provide feedback on competitive situations and develop appropriate strategies to win.
  • Work with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering on customer research, project selection, innovation, and product management (inventory management, obsolescence, etc.).
  • Work with Account Managers in other geographies to coordinate worldwide account activities.
  • Network effectively both inside and outside the organization.
  • Understand and communicate global value proposition of ITW EAE.
  • Must be able to foster, communicate and exemplify the culture and values of ITW; act with integrity and trust and shared risk and operate with simplicity.

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • A strong competitive drive to win balanced with the ability to work directly, and through teammates, to implement key strateiges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships at a complex multi-million dollar customer across varying customer functions and levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and implement a plan to improve/grow an account through winning new business and managing cost reduction and obsolescence initiatives.
  • Understanding of financials including working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong business analytical skills and mechanical and/or electrical engineering and/or technical experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required or equivalent ITW experience.
  • Proficient computer skills – MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote team.
  • Proven time management, prioritization abilities and demonstrated strong project management skills.

  • Must be able to travel domestic and international, more than 50%.
